The Trans-Siberian Express is a locomotive operated train of more than 100 years history boasting early 20 century look. The train offers to relax in style, enjoying comfort, space and superior service. The interior amazes with luxury and elegance of antique design and décor. Fancy-shaped chandeliers, silk curtains, upholstered furniture and all details of carriage interiors plunge into the age-old journey atmosphere.
The exclusive Trans-Siberian Express reveals a real ‘hotel on wheels’ offering two classes of accommodation. Both of them have cabin attendants enhancing the carriages comfort level by pampering passengers with round-the clock service and care. All cabins are furnished with bathrobes, towels and slippers. Hairdryers are available as well as on-train laundry service.
Deluxe Cars offer luxurious accommodation that equals or surpasses the best luxury trains in the world. Deluxe carriages are designed for the more discerning traveler wanting the very best. Every carriage has four or five compartments equipped with en-suite shower and WC which are amongst the most spacious available in rail today, providing under floor heating, an audio system, a DVD/VCR, air-conditioning with individual climate control, a wardrobe for clothes and space for luggage storage. There’s also a bar and lounge in a car for exclusive use of Deluxe class passengers.
First Class Sleepers offer comfortable accommodation in air-conditioned cars with twin-berth compartments, all fitted with lower berth beds, which convert to comfortable sofas. There’s ample storage in each cabin. Cabins are well appointed with all amenities. Individual shower and changing rooms are available in the dedicated shower car. A washroom and toilet, is located at the ends of each First Class Sleeping Car.
On all trips there are two or three restaurant cars, featuring both international and local cuisine, and serve three meals per day (except where meals are taken off the train) and a Bar or Lounge Car.
Russian Restaurant Cars serve European style food with a local Russian flavour.
Chinese Restaurant Cars serve Chinese food, except at breakfast, which is European. European style dishes are available on request.
