Description:
Vernissage in Izmailovo is the largest exhibition in the world, the fair of subjects of graphic arts and crafts and national crafts. The complex built by Russian architects in the style of pre-Peter Moscow is situated on the spot of craft workshops of Tsar Aleksej Mikhajlovich and has been existing already for more than 10 years. It has become the favourite place of Muscovites and the guests of the city. Artists and craftsmen from all the regions of Russia come here. World famous crafts as well as national crafts are presented at the fair: "Khokhloma", "Gzhel", "Fedoskino", "Palekh", "Kholuy", "Dymkovskaya toy" and many others.

Main attractions:
“The city of craftsmen” and “the street of handicrafts” exhibit the most famous and popular of national crafts. The cognitive-and-training excursions held in the complex describe the history, the traditions, the culture and the crafts of Russian people to the guests.

The blacksmiths perform in art-show and hold master-classes in the unique in Moscow Forge Yard.

The highest of Orthodox wooden temples in Moscow – the Temple of St. Nicolas the Consecrator, the patron of crafts.

The biggest Russian trade house of arts and crafts “the treasure of Russia” exhibiting thousands of the best samples of national crafts.
